The back support system of this mattress is the Simmons new patented Studio 6” Pocketed Coil System allowing the bed to adjust to your unique shape for customized support. Each Coil has a gauge rating 13 3/4 (the lower the gauge rating the thicker the wire and thus the firmer the support)

The Triton foundation of this set is made of a solid pine hardwood bottom frame with an L brace along the center and non-yielding vertical metal elements to offer increased stability
